Sam Smith is the Director of Education at The Malvern School of Washington Township. Her favorite children’s book is “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” by Bill Martin Jr. When she was young, she wanted to be a teacher. Fun fact about Stacey! She loves boating- her family owned a boat for 20 years and enjoyed exploring the Delaware River with the kids. One of her students was diagnosed with Autism and didn’t expect to speak at all, but he started speaking after six months of working with her! She loves that The Malvern School’s curriculum exceeds most schools and the Program introduces children as young as infants to a diverse collection of artists and authors.ĭuring her free time, Stacey enjoys visiting her son in North Carolina, watching movies with her family and reading.
One of Stacey’s proudest moments of her career was as a teacher in Early Intervention. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. Stacey joined The Malvern School team in 2022 with nearly 30 years of experience in education including as a teacher in Early Intervention, Case Worker and as Director.
